Peggy Dymond Leavey

Born in Toronto, Peggy Dymond Leavey spent much of her childhood moving around the country for her father's service in the Canadian military. She started writing at a young age, and over the years has been published in newspapers, magazine, and numerous books. Her novels for young readers have earned her several award nominations. A retired librarian, she now resides in Prince Edward County.
