R.B. Fleming

R. B Fleming is a biographer and a historian. His work is extremely wide-spread, being featured in many articles, papers, journals, biographies, historical texts and his own published works, and he speaks at many libraries, conferences and clubs. He is an avid reader and writer, as well as holding a passion for good food and travel. Fleming is also a member of many organizations including the Canadian History Association, The Lindsay Canadian Club, and the Beaverton-Thorah-Eldon Historical Society.

All of his research and work follows a common theme, being that of his homestead - south central Ontario. From his own modest beginnings, Fleming found the inspiration to write a history of general stores in Canada.

He currently resides in Argyle, Ontario.
