Uncle Tom's Cabin Historic Site

An African American history museum - and one of the key termini along the Underground Railroad - the Uncle Tom's Cabin Historic Site commemorates the life of Rev. Josiah Henson, a fugitive slave and abolitionist. His dramatic memoirs became the impetus for Harriet Beecher Stowe's famous novel Uncle Tom's Cabin.
