Who says there's nothing on TV? The Kingston WritersFest will broadcast an event from their 2012 Festival on TVCogeco every Thursday night in January at 9 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

  • January 10: Giller winner Will Ferguson in conversation with CBC's Shelagh Rogers
  • January 17: "When Lawyers Turn to Crime" with Robert Rotenberg and Peggy Blair
  • January 24: Eva Stachniak and The Winter Palace, the story of Catherine the Great; "Novel Attractions" featuring Vincent Lam, Pasha Malla, Tanis Rideout and Linda Spalding
  • January 31: James Laxer and "The Other War of 1812"
