From April 1, 2023 to June 1, 2023, the Aspiring Canadian Poets Contest is accepting entries for the 2013 contest. Originally started in 2012, the Aspiring Canadian Poets Contest is a way for unpublished poets to get attention. With the goal of recognizing and helping to develop these poets, this contest offers the winner a chance to have their first poem published on the Aspiring Canadian Poets Contest website, a listing of their names in Quill and Quire and private online mentoring sessions with the contest judge (valued at $1,000 between the three winners).
