The poetry magazine Vallum is holding their annual poetry award. The contest is open to both Canadian and international writers, and entries can be submitted both by mail and online. The entry fee is $20 (CAD for Canadian entrants, USD for international) and includes a one-year subscription to the magazine. Entrants can submit one to three poems of no more than 60 lines each, and the first- and second-place winners will be published in both the magazine and on the website, and will receive $500 and $250 respectively. Full rules and regulations can be found here, and the 2011 winner ("Telecommuting Spouses," by Peter Richardson) can be found here.
