VERSeFest is an annual poetry festival in Ottawa that will be held over March 12-17, 2013. With the goal of showcasing the artistic accomplishments of the Ottawa poetry community, the festival was started by VERSe Ottawa, a collective of Ottawa organizations that produce reading and performance series. One of the festival's strengths is its focus on traditional written and spoken word poetry, and its many exciting events taking place this year will reflect these types of poetry. The exciting lineup of Canadian poets includes Christine McNair, Don McKay, Rob Winger, A.F. Moritz and many others.
