Project Bookmark Canada is expanding beyond Ontario’s borders to honour the forthcoming Bookmark for Al Pittman's poem "The Sea Breeze Lounge,” in Woody Point, Newfoundland.
This will be the 11th Bookmark in the network and the first outside of Ontario. It will be unveiled in August at the Writers at Woody Point literary festival.
Project Bookmark Canada installs plaques (called "Bookmarks") bearing text from stories and poems in the exact physical locations where literary scenes are set.
