Inglis Falls

Share |

At 18 metres high, Inglis Falls is nothing short of spectacular. The largest waterfall out of three surrounding Owen Sound, it's a peaceful and picturesque place where the Sydenham River meets the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. Cailey and I enjoyed our last day in the city walking down the trail that follows the rushing water downstream. Named after Peter Inglis, a Scottish immigrant who settled in the area around 1845, Inglis Falls is beloved by the locals and a definite go-to destination for those visiting Owen Sound.
