Constructed in 1919, the Music Hall was first part of the National Theatre Chain. It was then revisioned as The Century, a second-run movie theatre. Thankfully, though, since 2005 it has embraced its roots as a centre for the performing arts. It's now a beloved venue in Toronto for a range of performances. I saw a concert there and thought that the intimacy of the space made it quaint and cozy.
