Bill Freeman

Bill Freeman worked in Western Canada once completing high school, and traveled extensively in Europe before settling back into Canada - first to attend Acadia University in Nova Scotia, and then moving on to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. His work was in sociology, and it was through this passion that he began writing novels for young adults. Freeman moved from writing into film, and focused much of his attention on social and political issues. He continues to work as a historian, a novelist and a freelance writer, giving a voice to Canada and the Canadian experience.
