Jane Fairburn

Jane Fairburn is a Toronto lawyer living along the north shore of Lake Ontario. She has always had a deep fascination with the lake, its history and its ecology. When she unexpectedly slipped on the ice near the top of the Scarborough Bluffs and hurtled down a slope aptly known as Killer Hill, she was forced to contemplate the lake that she held such appreciation for, ultimately giving her the opportunity for reflection and writing in her book, Along the Shore.
