Karolyn Smardz Frost

Karolyn Smardz Frost is a Toronto-born archaeologist and historian whose 1985 excavation of the Thornton and Lucie Blackburn site made history. Her works include I've Got a Home in Gloryland, Ontario?s African-Canadian Heritage, and The Underground Railroad. She currently holds the position of Senior Research Fellow for York University?s Harriet Tubman Institute, and resides in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
