Marianne Apostolides

Marianne Apostolides is a writer and critic living in Toronto, Ontario. She is the author of four books, including Swim(2009) and The Lucky Child (2010), which was long-listed for a ReLit Award.

Apostolides is a recipient of the 2011 Chalmers Arts Fellowship. She was first published by W.W Norton, and has been translated into Spanish and Swedish. Her writing explores the contacts between different genres - poetry against prose, fiction against non-fiction and creative against critical. 

Her work has appeared in The Walrus and Room.
