The Bayfield Writers’ Festival is an annual event that happens each year in June in the town of Bayfield, Ontario. This year, the festival will be held during June 22-23, 2013. Established in 2001 by Mary Wolfe, the founder of the Village Bookshop in Bayfield, the Bookshop continues to help sponsor and organize the festival with the help of its current owner, Mary Brown, and continues to run with the support of volunteers and partners in the publishing industry. A well-respected festival, they have been the host to many of Canada’s best-known authors including Margaret Atwood, Lawrence Hill and Terry Fallis. This year there will be an equally impressive lineup of authors.

Authors who will be in attendance include Tanis Rideout, Catherine Astolpho, Alison Bruce, Melodie Campbell, J.A. Menzies, Rene Natan and Madeleine Harris-Callway. There will be author readings, a three-course brunch with Tanis Rideout, workshops and much more.
